GambleAware Week 2025
Monday 20 - Sunday 26 October
GambleAware Week 2025 is coming. Start planning now for how you can support and promote this important campaign in your community.
What is GambleAware Week?
GambleAware Week is an annual campaign dedicated to raising awareness about the risks of gambling and gambling harm. It also helps to educate the NSW community about the range of information and support available from GambleAware.
Led by the Office of Responsible Gambling and backed by community and industry partners, the campaign is supported through local events and by sharing resources across owned channels.
We all have a role to play in keeping our communities informed, safe, and supported. Get involved and help spread the word.
How the week is promoted
GambleAware Week will be supported by a mix of paid advertising and public relations activity, but it’s our network of community partners, organisations, and individuals like you that really bring the campaign to life.
We’re creating a suite of creative resources to make it easy for you to promote the campaign. These will be available to download from this page in early September.
We’ll also publish an online event register so people can find GambleAware Week events happening near them. Details on how to list your event will be shared in August.
We need your support
Your help is essential to making GambleAware Week 2025 a success.
Here are some simple ways to get involved:
- Display posters or digital screen graphics in your workplace, venue, or public spaces.
- Share campaign videos and messages on your social media channels.
- Use our website banners or newsletter headers in your communications.
- Or take it a step further and host your own event to engage directly with your community.
What other support is available
Each GambleAware region has a dedicated community engagement team ready to support your efforts. They can offer expert advice, ideas for activities, and may even partner with you to deliver a local event.
Contact your local GambleAware service to discuss how you can work together.
