We recognise the key role education and awareness campaigns and sponsorships play in preventing and reducing gambling harm across NSW.

We develop evidence-based advertising campaigns and sponsorships, which are designed to educate and empower individuals and the community to make informed choices, take action to prevent and reduce gambling harm, and seek support when they need it.

We encourage community groups and industry stakeholders to support our awareness campaigns and share creative and messaging within their networks.

GambleAware Week 2024

GambleAware week is an annual initiative to raise awareness of gambling harm. The event was held 21-27 October 2024 and showcased safer gambling strategies.

This campaign promotes GambleAware classroom ready resources to teachers and encourages their use in everyday class work.
